Five Easy Steps To Finding A Niche Market For Your Business

Niche markets are specific areas of any industry that can be worked to find specific customers and clients helping you avoid competing with the large corporations within your industry. Niche marketing expands upon that idea to bring you a marketing plan and opportunities to utilize the concept above. The hardest and most important part of any niche business or niche marketing plan is to finding the niche market your business fits into.

When considering the niche market your business fits into, it’s important to look at some particulars of your business. The industry, target audience or clients, products or services and price points all play a huge role in finding your niche market. For this article, the example business will be a business supplying high end knits and knitting accessories in an online only business and store.

Step One: Understand your industry.

This may seem extremely basic, but it is so important to understand the larger industry you are a part of and how that industry breaks down. Without this knowledge, the idea of finding your niche market can be overwhelming. Using our example business, the larger industry is textiles, from there we get fashion, manufacturing, design, consumer based, materials, on and on. A knitting supply business is a consumer-based business offering materials, so you need to focus down to that, then move to step two.

Step Two: Find your niche.

One you know the category or section of your industry, it’s a little easier to see where your business fits into the scene of things. Think about your target audience to narrow your niche area down even more. If you only offer high end knitting supplies, then your customer base and focus shrinks to high end knitters and fashion houses/designers.

Step Three: Narrow your business down.

What this means is simply make sure you really are catering to a niche area. A niche is much more than a fabric store, it needs to be very specific and target only a small sector of the industry you are in. In our example, that is solved by offering only high end products for knitters, instead of sewers of all types.

Step Four: Find niche marketing opportunities in your niche area.

Research knitting resources and find out all the marketing information about those resources. This could and should include publishing, media, online presence and web page. If you have an online store and other special features (talked about later), even better.

Step Five: Find out what competitors are offering and offer more.

What this means is check out other businesses offering high end knitting supplies and see what their business and site consists of. You will both likely have an online store, support and customer service, but if they don’t offer online tutorials and knitting videos, you should! This is an opportunity to narrow your niche a little more and find an even more specialized customer without losing broader customers.

Finding A Profitable Niche For Your Niche Marketing Strategy

Niche marketing is crucial today if you are to survive in the online business world. Unless you have been gifted with special hindsight of being able to compete with the likes of Amazon.com and Ebay, you’re better off focusing on a specific niche. If your aim is to making money online, not only do you need to focus on a niche but you need to find a “profitable” niche.

So, the golden question is: how DO you go about finding a profitable niches?

Niche researche - how to find profitable keywords for your niche blueprint

Well, unfortunately, there is no easy way. You will have to do your homework. Here are some tips you may want to consider when looking for that profitable niche.

* Keyword research

If you’ve been online for awhile, you’ll probably already know what keyword research is. Keyword research, in its basic form, is simply to type in a general word into a keyword research tool and looking at the results.

What you’re looking for are keywords that have a good number of searches (i.e. people are actually interested in the niche) but you don’t want to be targeting a keyword that’s too general and too popular.

nicheblueprint system reviewed

* Competition

When you’ve found a keyword you think would be good to target, do a quick search on Google for the keyword. Look at the results. If the results are conquered by big important site such as Amazon, Ebay and Wikipedia, you’re probably better off with another keyword. This would high likely mean that you have to work hard to get your site in the first page of the search engine results for that keyword.

* Commercial intent

Not all keywords are equal. With respect to commercial intent. Commercial intent is simply the probability that the searcher has an intent to buy something. Someone who types in “order cooking set online”, for example, is more likely to buy than someone who types in a phrase like “open source blog script”.

So, what you’re after are keywords that show that there’s a high chance that the searcher is out to buy something. This may not necessarily be limited to the actual keyword. It could be just the niche itself.

There you go. This should help you start off on the right foot when looking for a profitable niche. Just remember that getting yourself in a profitable niche is the first step that will increase your chances of you making money from it. So take your time with this. Get this right, and you’re on your way to a successful niche business.

SEO – Where To Find Hot Niche Keywords

Advice on where to find hot keywords for niche marketing that can enhance your overall attempts to write effective search engine optimized (SEO) copy.

If you’re interested in creating "niche sites" and want to see the top ten lists and top 50 lists that describe what people are interested in on the Internet check out these helpful web tools online. It is also possible to buy lists off the Internet.

find niches with niche blueprint

Lycos 50 Daily Report: This site gives you the top 50 search terms as well as the top 50 sites that are being viewed for a 24 hour period This may give you some inspiration as to what types of sites and keywords might attract buyers in the future. One caveat is that the keyword or topic that is most popular today is not necessarily the most popular one for tomorrow. Using your gut instincts and marketing savvy is still necessary to determine the next big thing.

MetaCrawler: – This site gives you the top searched sites in both a filtered (family friendly) and filtered modes. These show you what searches are happening in real time so you can pick up on hot and popular trends. Like the Lycos 50 site you need to be a good predictor of trends once you know the present trends.

niche blueprint reviews how to find hot niches

These keyword sites can help you decide what is hot, not only in terms of products but also in terms of creating an informational site. Many Internet marketers build entire sites around one popular key word.

Remember that you want to use the keywords that are used the most often by web users to determine the nature of an informational product or a new site but you don’t want to necessarily use them as your keywords in your copy. The number of times a term is searched in a month is defined as keyword popularity and a word that is too popular in terms of copy is not good for business as it brings traffic but not necessarily buyers to your site.

Niche Marketing: Way to Make Money

Niche marketing is a great way to make money online. The process is actually quite easy when you know how. If you are new to niche marketing, you may find a great deal of information that can seem overwhelming to you, but it does not have to be that way. To begin with, the most important part of niche marketing is figuring out what niche you want to be a part of. Once you dominate one, you move on to another. So let’s begin with the first one.

nicheblueprint, Tim Godfrey

There are a couple of ways to accomplish this. No matter what method you use, you want to think of a list of preliminary keywords that you can research. Once you have a few, you can use the Yahoo Overture Keyword Suggestion Tool to help you figure out which related keywords are getting searched. Then you want to find out what kind of competition you’re going to have, which is as easy as going to any of the big three search engines (Google, Yahoo, and MSN) and typing in those keywords to see the number of results. Last, you want to know whether or not people are making money in these niches by seeing what people are willing to pay for Pay-Per-Click ads.

The more they’re willing to pay, the more they’re making. Your niche marketing efforts won’t pay off if you’re in a poor niche, a saturated niche, or a niche with nothing to sell in (unless you want to create your own products, which is only a good idea once you have a feel for the marketing part). If you want to know what niche marketers are willing to pay for PPC, you need to have a Google Adwords account. Create a campaign that you are not going to actually publish the ad for, but rather just use to see what you need to bid to get good placement. Then choose your keywords and look at the Google estimator. That will give you a pretty good idea of what you’re looking at.

Steven Clayton, niche blueprint

There is actually a software called Niche Inspector that will do all of this work for you. It’s about a hundred bucks, and it will cut your research literally by hours. Once you’ve got a niche that looks potentially profitable, you need to decide how you’re going to make the most of it. Selling affiliate products is one of the best ways, but there are some others, as well. If your niche marketing business concentrates on affiliate products, you need to be sure you have an auto responder with follow up messages regarding the product at hand and a landing page to send your prospects to so that you can capture their email addresses and get back to them in the future. The list is where the money is, so be sure to get those names and emails.

About seven to ten follow up messages should work to make the sales that are going to be made. Remember, niche marketing is just that- marketing. If you don’t want to sell affiliate products, another good way to generate income is through Adsense. Build a content website or blog (I recommend blogs) and put your Adsense code on it. You are able to have two sets of Adsense ads on any given page. Do you need content? Add an RSS feed to your site and go to forums to see what people in your niche want to read about. There is a resource called Super Blogging that will show you the best way to lay out your blog to maximize the potential to get ad clicks.

Of course, you can always put links to affiliate landing pages on blogs, as well, and when you go to those forums to find out what the readers want, you can send them to your blog. You can even start a newsletter and post an opt-in form on your blogs. Whatever you want to do with your niche marketing business, you can do it. It really isn’t that hard to make it happen; you just have to be willing to take action. I really suggest trying out the niche inspector software to help you out if you want to cut down on your niche marketing research time.

But with any method that you choose, as long as you have a good niche without too much competition but a lot of money exchanging hands, you are sure to find niche marketing success www.youradsenseprofits.com and www.reprintarticlesite.com

Selecting a Niche That’s Right for You

When marketing online your first step is usually selecting a niche in which to work. Niche marketing involves plenty of market research in advance in order to select the most profitable and in demand products for you to promote. Read more on how best to position yourself for minimal competition while maximizing your income.

niche marketing reviewed at niche blueprint

Most everyone starting out in the field of internet marketing has heard the advice of selecting a niche, selecting the ‘right’ niche for you, or even dominating a sub niche. Well how do you identify a niche in the first place let alone finding the ‘right’ one for you?

A niche is simply a ‘category’ of products or services that serve related purposes. Broken down further each niche can contain smaller niches within them such as in the case of furniture. Furniture in general encompasses those pieces in a room that equip it for more comfortable living conditions such as a sofa, chairs, bed, or any other related item. A sub niche would be more specified such as lawn furniture.

In niche marketing the selection process is critical. You may want to target something you have a passion for. Perhaps even something you have an interest in learning about. Your knowledge base and enthusiasm for the subject will be instrumental in presenting you as an authority.

Still can’t narrow down that market you want to work in? Well conduct a keyword research within one of the markets you’ve already considered. What this further market research will do is uncover other ideas or aspects you may have overlooked. This should set off an entirely new search for you in terms of that particular niche.

Another benefit of doing keyword research is the ability to see how congested or competitive a niche may be by the number of search results that comes up. A key point here is to select a niche that isn’t overly huge (competitive) according to the search results but is still big enough to be profitable. What you’re doing is ‘fishing where the fish are but not necessarily where the other fisherman goes.’

Of course we’re also going to base our niche marketing efforts around particular keywords that are searched upon within that particular niche.

Looking closer we see that if you focus more on keyword phrases (long tail keywords) instead of just keywords we can more deeply define our niche. For example using our previous furniture search case study, instead of targeting ‘furniture’ we can focus on ‘lawn furniture’ or perhaps ‘Adirondack outdoor furniture’ which is even more targeted.

Essentially by doing this we’re further distancing ourselves from the ‘pack’ which means less competition but yet it’s still a profitable market!

niche blueprint - the niche marketing system

Whatever you ultimately choose remember when selecting a niche to be sure you have an interest level that will sustain your enthusiasm since this will make your efforts one hell of a lot easier. This enthusiasm will also be reflected in the quality of your content. Make no mistake about it that this will be noticed by your website visitors.

My Personal Review of Commission Blueprint

Steven Clayton and Tim Godfrey founded Commission Blueprint, a series of 3 PDF written reports and fourteen videos that display you their affiliate marketing strategies that aided send them to Top Seller status over at Clickbank. Commission BluePrint includes PDF written report incorporates anywhere from 10 to 20 pages, and each video runs from about 5 to 20 minutes. The second PDF exhibits even more hidden tactics they systematically enforce to annihilate their competition. And the last PDF exposes the insider tricks they use to cash out enormous Clickbank money than most other affiliate merged!

In the Commission BluePrint kit there are 14 videos adding over three and a half hours of content. Each video is wide screen with a talking head on the right and slides to the left. They are in FLV format and you can watch them on-line, or opt to download them to your computer. The FLV format means that an FLV player is essential to view them offline, but a link to a free player is included on the download page. A nice touch is that the slides used to produce the videos are also available as PDF files.

The Commission Blueprints system includes very good scripted templates for review pages, pre sell pages, and opt-in pages. These are supplied as zip files and are well planned html files with accompanying pictures. No Photo shop original files are included, but they are not large on the graphics so that shouldn’t be a trouble.

Finally, there are a few unadvertised incentives including Michael Rasmussen’s MiniSiteProfts Exposed, and Email Promos Exposed which is a good out of the blue touch.

Commission Blueprint system seems to revolve around the idea of utilizing a science to choosing the right keywords, the adequate products to promote, the correct landing page. and they give a formula to follow for the entire process. If the system works anywhere near as well as it should then this is a no brainier for anyone.
